Bumps, scrapes, bruises, scars it happens!!! No maters how old you are or how active accidents happen. I personally have a very active 2 year old who gets into everything… we have taken every pro caution to keep her from getting hurt! We have spent hundreds of dollars baby proofing everything and yet she still gets hurt. There is nothing any parent can do to prevent there child from getting bumps scrapes and bruises, Sure you can prevent most incidences from occurring but not all. It’s called being human everyone gets hurt, bumps, scrapes, bruises, scars there part of life. If your child falls and gets hurt reassure them they are ok brush them off send them back to play. I get so worried when my daughter falls sometimes I even panic and go running for her dad if he is not at work or I start making frantic phone calls to who ever will pick up and reassure me she is ok. I know she is ok but to be reminded helps me feel better. Just the other day My daughter was running around being loud and not listening and we had just put up stakes with string to mark off the fresh growing grass and she looked and me and I told her don’t run and boom she clothes lined herself and landed on her but, I checked to make sure she was ok she had a little bruise on her butt where she landed on a rock. Tell you what she doesn’t run near the stakes anymore. She learned that lesson the first time. Your child will learn to avoid getting hurt so easily as they get over but they will learn to avoid the avoidable obstacles that could get them hurt. Unless your child suffers from congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis aka CIPA then your child will not know when there hurt, so in those cases it’s harder for the child to learn what to avoid due to nerve and senses that are unique and different compared to others.
